The SIlencing of Truth and Assange

Silencing of Truth

By Jonathan L Trapman
12 April 2019

The Release into Arrest for Julian Assange spells
the Death of Freedom on Every Level

The 11th April 2019 will be seen in history as a profoundly dark day for freedom, for a free press, truth exposing journalism and the precursor to a lockdown of personal and societal liberty of a scale we have never envisaged nor experienced in this world.

The whole the mainstream media, directly involved in the crimes of locking down truth and free speech, were absent in their totality as Julian Assange was bundled out unceremoniously from the Ecuadorian Embassy yesterday. That they had full knowledge of the impending arrest yet did nothing is an indictment of their complicity.

The only  outlet having exclusive record was Ruptly TV who had RT.com provide the horrifying images and information to a public starved of  so much truthful input.

RT.com chief Margarita Simonyan

RT.com chief Margarita Simonyan's response to CNN and Guardian journalists who called her and asked why RT was the only camera crew at Assange's arrest (implying Assange is connected to the Russians):

"The most obvious proof of the disgrace that the world media has become is that only we filmed the arrest of Assange today. Although this was not the first time that all of them were expecting his expulsion. And now they are forced to show our footage of the event.
CNN and Guardian still have the shamelessness to call us and ask, how was it that only we were there.
Yes, because you are shameless hypocritical lackeys of your establishment, and not journalists. That's why it happened."

The events that followed were  that he was taken to the magistrates court, charged with bail skipping whereupon the judge, totally out of order accused him of being 'narcissistic'. What exactly that had to do with bail skipping is anyone's idea. What it does establish is the establishment has all their judges, all their strong armed MI6 officers, all their troops aligned to as soon as possible get this truth teller away to lifetime confinement in the US. Any fair trial here or there would be a miracle too far with the present regimes in place.

On top of that they have the whole panoply of the MSM baying for blood, supporting the liars and convincing the weak minded, ill informed public that Assange is a criminal par excellence. That Sweden immediately instigates thinking of reissuing the case of rape against him is an overt ploy to have a second choice of extradition available, in case the first falls at the fence.

Now we have a coterie pf peers and MPs submitting a motion that Assange be able to have the Swedish case take preference against constitutional law of this country. Talk about traitors in our midst. These toffs deserve their own sentence.

Free Assange Freedom Speech

John Pilger, a most extraordinary truth reporting and ethical journalist quite rightly states:

"If we lose the Assanges – and there aren’t many of them, a handful maybe and certainly no one like him – if we lose the WikiLeaks, then we lose a whole stratum of freedom. We stop questioning.

The United States has aroused the ire because what we are in the midst of is the world’s greatest superpower struggling to maintain its dominance. Its information dominance, its technological dominance, its cultural dominance. And WikiLeaks has presented an extreme hurdle to this."

Pilger goes on to say:
"The glimpse of Julian Assange being dragged from the Ecuadorean embassy in London is an emblem of the times. Might against right.

But to hell with that. Let the thugs go in. Directed by the quasi fascists

in Trump's Washington, in league with Ecuador's Lenin Moreno, a Latin American Judas and liar seeking to disguise his rancid regime, the British elite abandoned its last imperial myth: that of fairness and justice.
Muscle against the law. Indecency against courage. Six policemen manhandled a sick journalist, his eyes wincing against his first natural light in almost seven years.
That this outrage happened in the heart of London, in the land of Magna Carta, ought to shame and anger all who fear for "democratic" societies. Assange is a political refugee protected by international law, the recipient of asylum under a strict covenant to which Britain is a signatory. The United Nations made this clear in the legal ruling of its Working Party on Arbitrary Detention." (Read his full article here)

For many they will see (or not see if they source their news from MSM) no real relevance or import from the events of the Assange story. They will believe he is a misogynist, bay for his being sent into the terrorist hands of the ultra criminal US Government's crooked justice system and 'lost' to the world.

Yet what is behind all this is the final push towards an obliteration of common freedoms, an annihilation of alternative views disseminated and the criminalisation of any press worthy of that name to call out government, injustice and criminality. Here the Mainstream media have excelled themselves in being the repeaters of their Gov's propaganda and lies, with little exceptions.

When we lose freedoms like these it is nigh impossible to regain them. However the saddest of all are those foolish enough to let these things transpire while thinking they are immune to any of it. They will be the first to be slaughtered. Their ignorance being the pass key to demise and saddest of all they will never see it coming.

Death of Freedom of Speech
John Pilger on Freedom and Assange

Too Dramatic?
Hardly, if any with two brain cells thought about it. The inveigling through the drip, drip, drip of gradual capture through ignorance and mind fed propaganda has been going on for decades. Each step planned assiduously.

What has happened to Julian Assange can happen to anyone across , the world, believe it!
I leave the final word to John Pilger in this interview with Afshin Rattansi on RT’s Going Underground program......
