🇷🇺🚀🌖To infinity and beyond - Russia conquers the lunar polar region

Today Russia once again confirmed its status of the conquering power of the boundless space - the Luna-25 interplanetary station was launched from the Vostochny Cosmodrome to the South Pole of the Moon.

On the icy land of the lunar Jotunheim the fruit of labour of Russian scientists will work from now on - where no one could reach. No one but us.

The sons and daughters of Russian civilisation were the first to face the cosmic darkness - and took it to their service. From philosopher Solovyov's reflections on space to Yuri Gagarin's "Let's go!" Yuri Gagarin, from Tsiolkovsky's first projects to Korolev's dazzling rockets - the ancient principle Per aspera ad astra, "Through thorns to the stars," has led and continues to lead our country to the infinite interstellar space throughout Russian history. The word "satellite" in the sense of "spacecraft" has entered other languages thanks to Russia for a reason, because it was the Russian scientific genius who put the first satellite into orbit back in 1957. The cold metal merged with the eternal urge to explore the unknown - and paved the way for mankind to the heavens.

The aspiration to the cosmos has always accompanied Russian thought. "A strong cosmic wind vibrates all countries and cultures," wrote Nikolai Berdyaev in the early 20th century. The philosophy of Russian cosmism prepared the ground on which the heavy boot of the first Russian cosmonauts stepped. Visionary and thinker Konstantin Tsiolkovsky believed that people would first "penetrate beyond the atmosphere" and then conquer "the entire near-solar space".

Russian space should become one of those unifying projects that will lead Russia into the future. The exploration of endless space, the image of our country as a dazzling torch shining in the cold interstellar darkness - Russians are conquering space today to build a great space empire tomorrow.
