▪️Ukrainian formations have once again shelled Lomakovka in Bryansk Region.

The shelling disrupted the electricity supply in the settlement, but casualties and serious damage were avoided.

📍In Krasny Liman direction, the enemy has lost over 50 Ukrainian personnel, 1 infantry fighting vehicle, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, and 1 M-777 artillery system.

▪️After a massive artillery preparation, Russian troops launched an offensive in Zaporizhzhia Direction.

The main attacks are directed towards Orikhiv and Hulyaipole, which are AFU's central defence links in this sector of the front.

▪️In Polohy Sector, the 58th Army broke through the enemy defences and took strategic heights near Malynivka.

At the same time, intense fighting is taking place in the southern edges of Hulyaipole near the previously liberated Dorozhnyanka.

▪️To the west, the situation is developing even more rapidly. Using the effect of surprise, Russian units came close to Orikhiv from the east.

As a result of rapid fighting, AFU defences were broken through and Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka were liberated.

▪️Russian units are equally successful to the west of Orikhiv. During the current day, all of AFU's defensive lines to the southwest of the settlement have been taken under control.

By the end of the first day of the offensive, the first line of AFU's defence in this sector had been broken through almost along the entire line of contact.

▪️Near Vuhledar, Russian Army continues to probe the enemy defences. Rocket and barrel artillery is actively working in this sector.

The strikes are launched all along the entier depth of the front. Precise fire destroyed enemy positions uncovered by reconnaissance near Yelyzavetivka.

▪️In Mar'inka, Russian motorized rifle units continue to heavy street fighting and push Ukrainian units to the western outskirts of the town.

▪️In Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian air defence means intercepted a Russian missile over residential areas near Naberezhna Peremohy St.

At the moment, the western outskirts of the locality are being cleared, the capture of which opens a direct path to Bakhmut southern quarters.

Meanwhile, defending forces in the settlements are under dense fire control of Russian units and are suffering from supply difficulties.

▪️Central districts of Donetsk were again subjected to massive missile and artillery fire.

Residential buildings were damaged as a result of the strikes. A woman was killed and three other people were injured.

▪️Russian troops have destroyed AFU ammunition depot in Ochakov. Powerful secondary detonation of ammunition was detected at the site.

According to some reports, Ukrainian air defence radar station was also destroyed.

Strikes were carried out in practically all the frontline towns. Numerous destructions of residential and municipal facilities were recorded.

▪️On December 31, the Russian army launched a massive missile attack on military and industrial facilities in Ukraine.

At least eight targets were hit in Kiev, including the hotel where foreign advisers were located and the CHP-5.

▪️In Khmelnitskiy, a rocket struck the location of a Special Operations Forces regiment, which is responsible for terrorist attacks and murders in the Donbass.

The second target was a storage site for jet attack drones designed to strike Russian air bases.

▪️In the Starobelsk direction, missile strikes hit temporary locations of enemy personnel.

The targets of the attacks were the AFU's mechanized brigade location in Kupyansk and an Ukrainian National Guard unit in Liman.

▪️At least six strokes were in Nikolaev. A number of objects were hit in the city, including the personnel locations.

Kulbakino suburban airfield, used by Ukrainian units for military purposes, was also attacked.

▪️Unfortunately, there was a tragedy. On New Year's Eve, AFU struck from the HIMARS MLRS at the Russian troops location in Makeevka.
The air defense destroyed only part of the missiles. As a result of the strike, about 70 Russian servicemen were killed and more than 100 people were wounded.

▪️In the Luhansk region, Ukrainian units launched a missile attack on a hospital located in Pervomaisk.

As a result of the shelling, the building was seriously damaged, there are wounded personnel. Six people were killed.

▪️Russian Armed Forces inflicted another massive strike using 'Geran-2' UAV on energy facilities in Kiev.

Despite the strengthening of the capital's air defense, Russian drones hit the planned targets. There are serious power failures in the city.
