❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on March 31


▪️The AFU continue shelling the border territories of Kursk region.

In the Glushkov district, the villages of Tetkino and Krasnooktyabrskiy were hit. Residential buildings were damaged and electricity supply was disrupted. 

▪️Russian troops once again launched a strike on military and energy facilities in central Ukraine. 

AFU locations and infrastructure were targeted by Russian kamikaze drones in Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.

▪️Russian troops launched a massive strike on AFU locations in Kharkiv. 

Several powerful explosions were reported in the city. According to unconfirmed reports, a Tornado-S MLRS was used for the shelling.

▪️In Bakhmut, despite the bad weather, the Wagner PMC assault groups continue their offensive in all directions.

The most intense fighting is recorded near the Vodokanal and in the central part of the city.

▪️On the southern flank, the front line consolidated near Krasne and near the Kostyantynivka - Bakhmut highway.

By deploying additional reserves, the AFU managed to temporarily stabilise the situation in this area.

▪️The Kyiv regime continues its massive shelling of frontline towns in the Donetsk direction.

Oleksandrivka and the Kyiv district of DPR's capital were hit. As a result, residential houses were damaged. A woman was wounded. 
  
▪️The Russian Armed Forces launched a strike on several enemy military and industrial facilities in Kramatorsk. 

According to some reports, the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant and energy infrastructure were hit.

❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on March 30


▪️The AFU fired at least four HIMARS missiles at the village of Troitske in the Luhansk People's Republic.

Residential houses, the central district hospital, and a store were hit. Fourteen civilians were wounded and one person was killed.

▪️In northern Bakhmut, Wagner PMC assault groups are expanding their zone of control around the Artemivsk non-ferrous metal processing plant.

At the moment, clashes are taking place in Selyshche area near the football stadium, as well as at the residential area near the industrial zone.

▪️Heavy fighting continues near the Central Market and the Bakhmut district administration. 

In recent days, the Wagner PMC assault groups have significantly intensified their attacks, apparently relying on a direct assault on city blocks. 

▪️To the south, the city districts of Sobachevka and Budonnivka are under full control.

The line of contact has shifted northward to the area of Vodokanal, Shyroka and Mariupolska streets.

▪️The Kyiv regime continues its massive shelling of Donbass towns and villages.

Artillery strikes damaged a machinery plant in Yasynuvata, an administration in Horlivka, and several civilian objects in Donetsk.

▪️Despite rapidly deteriorating weather conditions, Russian forces continue their positional offensive north of Avdiivka. 

The immediate task is to destroy the AFU strongholds in the forest belt south of Novobakhmutivka.
  
▪️In Marinka, Russian motorized rifle division occupied the district administration building, the fighting for which had been going on for several months.

At the same time, to the west of Druzhba Avenue, the zone of control was expanded, which significantly complicated AFU defense.

▪️Ukrainian units continue to strike at the border territories of Belgorod Region.

As a result of the Cheremoshnoe village shelling, the power supply was lost in several settlements. No casualties were reported.

▪️In the Lysychansk sector, Russian units supported by artillery continue their offensive near Kreminna. 

The enemy is gradually losing positions both near Dibrova and in the forest area adjacent to the Siverskyi Donets. 

▪️In the Bakhmut sector, intense fighting is taking place along the entire line of contact. 

The infantry and armoured vehicles have so far enabled the AFU to hold its flanks and prevent the encirclement from closing. 

▪️Northwest of Avdiivka, Russian forces are gradually expanding their area of control around Kamyanka and Krasnohorivka. 

The Ukrainian command, in turn, is trying to organise a stable defence along the railway line.

▪️In Pervomaiske, Russian units occupied several more blocks adjacent to Izmaylovskyy pond.  

At the same time, the enemy concentrates additional forces in Sjeverne, reinforcing the grouping on the southern flank of the Avdiivka fortified area.

▪️The AFU continue to use western MLRS to attack civilian objects. In Melitopol, several strikes were reported in the vicinity of a railway depot. 

As a result of the shelling, the city and its suburbs suffered partial power outages. 
  
▪️Ukrainian units attempted to hit an airfield in the village of Hvardiiske north of Simferopol. 

Due to the electronic warfare means operation, the shell fell in the field without causing any damage.

▪️Russian Geran-2 drones struck military and infrastructure facilities in the capital of Ukraine.

At least four objects were hit in Kyiv. One of them was located in the territory of warehouses near the Sviatoshyn Airfield.

▪️In the Kupyansk section of the front, position fighting and artillery duels in the area of Hryanykivka and Dvirichna continue. 

The parties take advantage of the pause and redeploy additional forces to the line of contact.

▪️In the Lysychansk sector, Russian units continue to press the enemy into the wooded area near Kreminna. 

At the same time, the Ukrainian positions are being hit by the artillery and armored vehicles in the area of Torske and west of Dibrova.

▪️Northwest of Bakhmut, Wagner PMC units continue to operate to capture the city from the flank.

Heavy clashes with Ukrainian units are taking place in Orekhovo-Vasilevka and on the approaches to Bohdanivka. 

▪️In the central districts of Bakhmut, the Wagner PMC groups continue their offensive along Myru, Bakhmutska and Bazarna Streets.

The southern part of Mariupolskaya Street is now controlled by the Russian forces. Shooting battles are taking place near the intersection of Vasylya Pershyna and Nezalezhnosti Streets.

▪️The Kyiv regime continues to shell peaceful towns in the Donetsk People's Republic. 

As a result of HIMARS shelling of Zuhres, the building of School No.17 was seriously damaged.
  
▪️After Russian troops thwarted all attempts of the AFU offensive, the situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction has stabilized.

▪️Ukrainian formations continue to strike settlements in Belgorod Region.

▪️In Luhansk People's Republic, Ukrainian formations struck Lysychansk.

Air defence means managed to intercept several missiles, nevertheless the college building was damaged. Several people were injured.

▪️Ukrainian UAV Tu-141 Strizh, previously repeatedly used for attacks on Russian territory, fell in Kireyevsk, Tula region.  
 
As a result of the ammunition explosion, three people suffered minor shrapnel wounds. 

▪️At Lyman sector, Russian troops continue offensive on AFU's positions westward Ploshchanka. 
  
An artillery strike destroyed a bridge over the Zherebets' River in Makiivka, which will significantly complicate the supply of the Ukrainian group on the eastern bank. 

▪️Severe fighting continues for Orikhovo-Vasylivka, northwest of Bakhmut. 
  
The Ukrainian command is trying with all its might to hold the settlement and prevent the defence line breakthrough in this area. 

▪️Wagner PMC's assault groups continue to push the enemy in the industrial zone in the north of Bakhmut. 
 
The AFU's units left the territory of the Artemivsk non-ferrous metal processing plant and moved to spare positions near the administrative buildings of the Vistek plant. 

▪️In the southern part of the city, Wagner PMC's groups have made significant progress towards the MIG-17 stele: clashes are taking place almost at the monument itself. 
 
In addition, the territories adjacent to the Avanhard stadium and several blocks near the city market have been liberated. 

▪️The assault of the Ukrainian fortified area in Mar'inka continues. The battles in the city are literally for every square meter. 
 
According to the objective control data, Russian troops have confidently gained a foothold in residential areas west of Druzhby Ave. 
  
▪️To the north, at the Krasnohorivka sector, Russian troops expanded the control zone, pushing the line of engagement away from Staromykhailivka. 
 
Positional battles are taking place along the entire line of contact: the intensive work of barrel and rocket artillery is noted.

▪️Ukrainian units again shelled the Kursk region border areas. 

The village of Plekhovo, Sudzhansky district, was hit by the AFU fire. The power in the village was cut off, two houses were damaged.

▪️The Russian Aerospace Forces launched a massive strike on enemy positions in the villages of Viri and Bilopillia, Sumy Region.

Several dozen Ukrainian soldiers were killed and at least two hundred wounded by high-precision air bombs. 

▪️In the Lyman sector, fighting continues on the outskirts of Makiivka and in the Balka Zhuravka area. 

Russian assault units supported by tanks and artillery occupied several enemy strongholds. 

▪️In the besieged Bakhmut, the Wagner PMC units continue to push the enemy back in the industrial zone and near the Avangard stadium. 

At the same time the assault squads managed to cross the river and start fighting in the area of the garage cooperative.

▪️The storming of the Avdiivka fortification continues: after several days of persistent fighting, Russian troops have completely liberated Kamyanka.

It was the last settlement on the northeastern flank, which was partially controlled by Ukrainian units.

▪️Russian units continue to expand their zone of control near the Donetsk Ring Road. 

Over the past few days, forward units have made significant advances in Pervomaiske, pushing the enemy back to the western part of the village.

▪️Russian Geran-2 drones struck infrastructure and military facilities in Kryvyi Rih.

Despite air defence countermeasures, several large explosions and fires were recorded in the city.

▪️Two Ukrainian light aircraft intruded into the airspace of the Bryansk region and unsuccessfully attempted to attack cell phone towers.

▪️Ukrainian units again shelled the border Volokonovsky district in the Belgorod region.

The village of Tishanka was hit. A private house was damaged and the gas supply was disrupted.

▪️In the Lyman sector, Russian troops continue to expand their area of control to the west of Ploshchanka. 

A successful offensive resulted in the advance of the units which have reached Makiivka and are now fighting on the outskirts of the village.

▪️The battle for Bakhmut is still underway. In the north of the city, Wagner PMC assault groups are controlling a large part of the Artemivsk Metal Processing Plant.

At the same time, an offensive also develops in the southern districts, where intense street battles are reported.

▪️In the Donetsk direction, Russian troops are conducting an offensive north of the Avdiivka fortified area. 

Successful combat operations resulted in taking the positions to the west of Novabakhmutivka, forcing the enemy to retreat to Novokalynove.

▪️Russian troops launched a powerful missile strike on the territory of Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant.

According to preliminary reports, the buildings of the plant were used as a place of deployment of Ukrainian units.

▪️In the Zaporizhzhia direction AFU concentrated forces in the vicinity at the Polohovsky section and in the vicinity of Orekhov, preparing for another reconnaissance battle.

▪️Ukrainian units attempted a massive attack on military facilities in Sevastopol. 

Naval surface and airborne drones carried out the attack. All targets were destroyed by the air defences and the Black Sea Fleet forces.

▪️The AFU shelled the Borisovka village in the Belgorod region. Most of the shells hit the territory of an agricultural facility.

Several private houses were damaged. One person was killed as a result of the shelling.

▪️Russian drones launched a strike on a lyceum building in the town of Rzhyshchiv, Kyiv Region. 

The buildings of the lyceum were used for Ukrainian forces and foreign mercenaries deployment.

▪️Several other military facilities were hit by kamikaze drones in Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi regions.

Numerous explosions and fires were reported at the sites of the attack.

▪️Active offensives resumed near Bilohorivka in the Lysychansk sector.  

The main strikes are launched in the direction of Verkhnokamyanske. According to some reports, fighting is already taking place on the outskirts of the village.

▪️The battle for Bakhmut continues. Over the past 24 hours, Wagner PMC units have managed to advance in almost all directions.
   
At the moment, Russian forces already control about 70 per cent of the city's territory.

▪️Ukrainian units launched a strike on the Petrovskyi district of Donetsk with a Tochka-U tactical missile.

A local water utility building was completely destroyed as a result of the direct hit.

▪️The AFU attempted to attack the territory of the Novozybkov oil pumping station in the Bryansk region with a drone.

The object was shot down before it reached its target. The power supply to the settlements in the area was temporarily cut off for security reasons. 

▪️Another UAV attack was launched against the Klimovo village.

As a result, five residential buildings were damaged, no casualties.

▪️In Crimea, six Ukrainian UAV's attempted to strike the Dzhankoy railway station area.

The air defenses repelled the attack, and several downed drones hit the urban area, damaging residential buildings and a technical college building.

▪️In the northern districts of Bakhmut, the Wagner PMC units continue to storm the industrial area.

In the past 24 hours, control was established over several shops of the non-ferrous metals plant.

▪️On the southern outskirts, Russian forces knocked the AFU out of several multi-story buildings along Korsunsky Street.

In Sobachevka and Budyonovka districts, Russian units are advancing towards each other, encircling the enemy.

▪️To the southwest, on the outskirts of Krasne, heavy fighting in the vicinity of the road to Kostyantynivka continues.

Despite heavy losses, the AFU continue to hold the road, which is vital to the Bakhmut garrison.

▪️Russian forces launched a missile strike on the Odesa International Airport.

The facility is used by the AFU as a drone base for attacks on the Crimean peninsula.

▪️Regular shelling of the border areas in the Sudzhansky district of Kursk region continues unabated.

The AFU launched a mortar strike on the villages of Guevo and Gornal’, no civilian casualties or destruction.

▪️In the Lyman sector, positional fighting in the area of the Balka Zhuravka and to the west of Ploshchanka is underway.

Russian troops are consolidating on previously occupied positions and firing artillery at AFU positions near the Zherebets’ River.

▪️Northwest of Bakhmut, Wagner PMC groups continue their assault on the AFU’s stronghold in Orekhovo-Vasilevka.

The enemy is taking heavy mortar and artillery fire on the attacking units, trying to disrupt the pace of the offensive.

▪️On the southern outskirts of the city, the Wagner PMC units advanced in the area of Sobachevka, levelling the zone of control along Mariupolska Street. 

At the same time, in the Budonnivka area, Russian troops approached the outskirts of the stadium, forcing the enemy to retreat.

▪️On the outskirts of Krasne, fierce fighting for control of the Kostyantynivka - Bakhmut highway is going on.

Having redeployed reserve forces and armored vehicles, the enemy managed to slightly push the assault units away from the road.

▪️Ukrainian units continue indiscriminate strikes on residential areas and infrastructure of Donetsk agglomeration.

In Kuybyshevsky district, the shelling damaged three residential buildings, one was destroyed completely, no casualties among the population.

▪️North of Avdiivka, Russian forces broke through the AFU defenses and entrenched on the eastern outskirts of Petrivske.

To the southeast, the Russian Armed Forces’ units entered Kamyanka and began to storm enemy positions inside the populated area

▪️On the southern flank, Ukrainian units attempted a counterattack on the positions at Vodiane and Opytne. 
 
Russian servicemen parried the attack, the enemy retreated to the initial lines with losses. 

▪️In Dnipro region, Russian drones hit a fuel storage facility in Novomoskovs'k. 
 
As a result of an accurate hit, a large fire broke out at the facility, the glow from which was visible for several kilometers. 

▪️In Zaporizhzhia direction, the AFU conducted regular reconnaissance in force attempts near Robotyne and Charivne. 
 
The advance of enemy groups was stopped by adjusted artillery fire.

▪️At the Kup'yans'k sector, Russian troops expanded the control zone westward of Hryanykivka 
 
The Ukrainian command has withdrawn the remaining units to the right bank of the Oskol River and prepare for the defence of Dvorichna. 

▪️At the Kreminna - Makiivka line , Russian assault groups continue to methodically push the enemy out along the entire front line. 
 
Ukrainian units lost a few fortified areas west of Ploshchanka and in the area of Balka Zhuravka. 

▪️Northeast of Bakhmut, Russian units continue storming the enemy's defence in Orikhovo-Vasylivka. 
 
To hold the front line, the AFU are redeploying additional forces to the sector.  

▪️On the southern outskirts of the city, Wagner PMC's squads have liberated most of the Sobachevka district and assault enemy positions on Mariupolska Street. 
 
At the same time, Russian forces strengthened in the south of the Vodokanal district.

▪️AFU continue to deploy reserves in Chasiv Yar, gathering striking mechanised grouping for decisive counteroffensive. 
 
The Wagner PMC's reconnaissance reveals the enemy locations, which are being hit by rocket and artillery strikes. 

▪️South of Avdiivka, Russian troops continue to storm enemy positions on the heights near Vodyane.   
   
The defending Ukrainian forces are suffering heavy losses. The most bloodless units are allocated for replacement in Sjeverne. 

▪️Ukrainian units continue shelling the Donetsk agglomeration with rocket and tube artillery.   
   
In the capital of DPR, the civilian infrastructure of the Kyiv district came under attack: one woman was wounded.

▪️Ukrainian formations have once again launched missile strike against Belgorod. Several missiles were intercepted by air defence means.

In recent days, about 60 houses and more than 30 cars have been damaged in the city as a result of falling shrapnel.

▪️In Svatove sector, the situation remains relatively calm. AFU takes advantage of the operational pause and strengthen its forward positions.

At the same time, the defence line along Oskil River is being strengthened. Reserves arrive in Sen'kove, including mercenaries from the International Legion

▪️In Bakhmut sector, Wagner PMC fighters continue to expand their zone of control in the area of the liberated Zaliznyans'ke.

▪️At the Lyman sector, Russian motorised infantry successfully repelled all enemy counterattacks and started the offensive, expanding the control zone at Balka Zhuravka. 
 
The enemy is strengthening the defense in Nevs'ke: Ukrainian special forces units reinforced with armoured vehicles are seen in the village. 

▪️Southwest of Kreminna, Russian troops resumed their offensive on Ukrainian positions in Serebryanka forestry. 
 
As a result of successful military operations, several enemy fortified areas were seized.   

▪️In the northwest of Bakhmut, the Wagner PMC's squads broke through the enemy defence and liberated most of Orikhovo-Vasylivka. 
 
Russian units are storming the last AFU's strongholds in the cemetery area in the western outskirts of the village. 

▪️In the southwest, Russian troops came close to the highway to Kostyantynivka. Advanced units have established physical control over several sections of the road. 
 
The AFU's command is trying to counterattack by transferring additional reserves in the sector. 

▪️The AFU launched strike at the civil infrastructure in Pereval's'k using the HIMARS MLRS. 
 
As a result of the attack, an auto station and two gas stations were damaged, three people were killed, seven were wounded. 

▪️Northward to Avdiivka, Russian units managed to capture several AFU's fortified areas in Krasnohorivka. 
 
The enemy has redeployed elite assault units to hold positions in the central part of the village. 

▪️Near Vesele, Russian troops seized a dam on a reservoir near Kam'yanka, approaching the settlement from the south. 
 
Successful actions in this area will lead to the flank of the Avdiivka grouping and will allow to exploit a further offensive.

The main objective is to cut supply lines, avoiding frontal attack on the deeply entrenched defences.

▪️On the northern flank, Russian servicemen have liberated Vesele and are fighting near Krasnohorovskyy pond.

▪️Ukrainian formations once again shelled the capital of Donetsk People's Republic.

Artillery shells damaged a school building and several residential buildings in Kuibyshivs'kyi district. One woman was wounded.

▪️Fierce fighting continues in Mar'inka. Russian motorized riflemen were able to advance and clear residential buildings behind School No. 2.

At the same time, to the south, the assault on AFU positions near Pobjeda resumed.

▪️In Crimea near Hvardiis'ke in the Simferopol district, Russian air defence systems shot down an unidentified projectile.

The explosion from the fall did not cause significant damage. The downed object could have been a Ukrainian drone.

▪️Regular shelling of border areas in Glushkovsky district of Kursk region proceeds.

Volfino and Krasnooktyabr'skiy were hit by AFU, both settlements are de-energised. There are no civilian casualties.

▪️Positional fighting and artillery strikes exchange along the entire contact line are recorded in Starobil's'k direction.

The most tense situation remains at Lyman sector, where Russian motorised riflemen continue to fight in the forests near Kreminna.

▪️Wagner PMC squads continue the assault of Bakhmut: over the past weekend, at least 20 enemy strongholds were captured in the city.

The advance of Russian forces was recorded almost along the entire perimeter of the besieged city.

▪️Being under the threat of complete encirclement, AFU began a partial withdrawal of troops from the central and western districts.

The Ukrainian command is withdrawing the most combat-ready units, leaving the non-shot parts of the territorial defence units for cover. 

▪️During the withdrawal from the fortified area in Ivanivske, two enemy groups were intercepted and destroyed by Wagner PMC units.

As a result of the swift battle, Ukrainian losses amounted to about 30 people killed and more than 60 wounded.

▪️Ukrainian units shelled Volnovakha using HIMARS MLRS in the south of the Donetsk People's Republic.

The former building of the commandant's office and several civilian buildings were hit, nobody was injured.

As a result, two men were killed. A boy was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to his back.

▪️The enemy shelled the border village of Tetkino. Eight houses were damaged, one man died on the spot and another was wounded. 

Later, AFU struck Troitskoye and Begoshcha. No casualties or damage were reported. 

▪️Ukrainian UAV crashed near Berezovsky in Tula Region.

The target of the strike was presumably Shchekinskaya State District Power Plant. Additional measures are being taken in the region to protect strategic facilities.

▪️In Bakhmut sector, Wagner PMC assault units pushed the enemy out and reached Chasiv Yar - Khromove road.

By cutting off the supply along this route, Russian forces will deprive AFU of the opportunity to supply the garrison in the city.

▪️To the north, Wagner PMC is fighting near Illinivka, pushing the enemy into the centre.

The Russian forces have managed to gain a foothold in the residential area adjacent to the Khromove factory.

▪️Fierce fighting continues in near the road to Kostyantynivka. Heavy fighting is taking place on the outskirts of Krasne.

AFU are moving infantry battalions in attempt to halt the advance of Russian troops, 

▪️Ukrainian formations have once again fired indiscriminately at civilian infrastructure in DPR capital and nearby towns.
