December 28-29, 2023


▪️In Gaza, the IDF is advancing from the coast. Clashes are taking place near the reservoir in the Sheikh al-Radwan neighbourhood and on Al-Saftawi Street. The Israelis are launching massive air and artillery strikes on Palestinian-controlled areas.

▪️Fighting continues in Al-Daraj and Al-Tuffah areas, where the Israelis are advancing in converging directions from the west and east. Palestinians are resisting, but the IDF is getting closer and closer to cutting Hamas defences in Gaza in two.

▪️In the south, intensive strikes continue on Khan Yunis. After an artillery preparation, the IDF launched an attack on the city from the direction of Khuza'a and Khirbet Khuza’a. The aim of the Israelis is to cut the Hamas defence in the city. After the transfer of the 7 armoured brigade, the total number of assaulting forces reached 30 thousand people

▪️The exchange of strikes continues on the Israeli-Lebanese border. Hezbollah is attacking cameras and observation posts with anti-tank guided missiles, while the IDF is shelling launching positions.

▪️In the West Bank, the Israelis carried out another series of raids in major cities, some of which ended in clashes with the local population. IDF operations in the region are traditionally accompanied by mass detentions of Palestinians: 27 local residents were detained in Deir Abu Mash'al alone.

▪️Pro-Iranian militias attacked U.S. military installations in the region. They shelled bases in Al-Shaddadi, Kharab al-Jir, U.S. positions at the Conoco plant in Syria, as well as the Harir base in northern Iraq.

▪️The Israeli Air Force has launched another strike on Damascus, hitting the Syrian capital's international airport. The IDF regularly disables the facility with such strikes in order to complicate Iranian logistics in the country and the region as a whole.

December 26-27, 2023


▪️Israeli troops continue the ground operation on almost the entire territory of the Gaza Strip. Amid massive bombing of the enclave, the total number of deaths exceeded 21,000 people.

▪️In the northwest, the main battles are still taking place in the Al Nazlah neighbourhood in Jabalia. The Israelis are using their usual tactics: first they demolish high-rise structures, and then they begin storming positions and clearing the area.

▪️On the southern flank, IDF units are clearing the central Gaza neighbourhood of Al-Daraj. At the moment, the Israelis are just meters away from completely cutting the capital of the enclave into two parts.

▪️In the south of the enclave, Israeli troops advance in the residential area of Khan Yunis. The IDF took control of the town hall near the town's central square.

▪️Meanwhile, the now routine raids by Israeli security forces continue throughout the West Bank. One of them took place in Tulkarm, where the IDF destroyed an improvised explosive device laboratory.

▪️After the death of senior IRGC officer Razi Mousavi, the situation in other states in the region has escalated. Pro-Iranian proxies launched missile strikes on the US bases of Al-Shaddadi in Syria and Harir in Iraq.

▪️The Americans responded to the attacks and hit targets of the pro-Iranian group Kataib Hezbollah. The strike killed one member of the Iraqi security forces and wounded 18 people.

December 23-25, 2023


▪️In the northern part of the enclave, Israeli infantry, supported by armoured vehicles, is advancing towards the centre of Gaza from previously occupied areas. Numerous air force strikes on dense buildings lead to an increase in losses among the local population. 

▪️In the central part of the enclave, the number of IAF strikes on settlements and their surroundings has sharply increased. Over the past two days, many Palestinians have become victims of attacks: in Al-Maghazi alone, more than 70 people died after the airstrike at a gathering of refugees. 

▪️Severe fighting continues in the south of the enclave. The eastern part of Khan Yunis, which lies in ruins, actually came under the control of the Israelis. Judging by the powerful artillery strike on Al-Maan area, it is in this direction that the IDF plans to develop an offensive in coming days. 

▪️In Western Bank, Israeli security forces continue to raid and arrest Palestinians on suspicion of links to Hamas. In large cities, such events often end in clashes with the local people, which sometimes turn into shootouts. 

▪️On the northern borders from the coast to the Golan Heights, there is an exchange of strikes between Hezbollah and IDF. Both Lebanese and Israeli border settlements are gradually turning into ruins, but neither side is yet seeking to take more decisive action. 

▪️IAF has launched another strike on Syria: the target was an object in Sayyida Zaynab area in Damascus, where three missiles hit. During the raid, Reza Mousavi. 

▪️Pro-Iranian units have again attacked US bases in Syria and Iraq with kamikaze drones. Against the background of the news about the death of a high-ranking IRGC officer in Damascus, the number of attacks may increase many times in the near future.

December 21-22, 2023


▪️Israeli forces continue to advance deep into the urban development in both the north and south of the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the Israeli Air Force is bombarding the enclave, destroying all high-rise structures. 

▪️In the northwest, the Israelis managed to advance in the Al-Nazl area in Jabalia, where heavy fighting ensued. Nevertheless, earlier the IDF command claimed to have established full control over the locality. 

▪️To the northeast, the Israelis are engaged in fierce fighting in the vicinity of the Sheikh Radwan Reservoir. Should the Israel Defence Forces advance in this direction, they will succeed in cutting Jabalia off from Gaza.

▪️On the southern flank, Israeli units continue to clear the area near the Baptist Hospital. Palestinian militias occasionally conduct sorties, but are unable to achieve significant results. 

▪️In the south of the enclave, Israeli units continue to fight in the residential area of Khan Younis. However, due to the lack of manpower, it is rather problematic to establish the configuration of the front line in the town. 

▪️East of Bani Suheila, the Israel Defence Forces managed to perform the first encirclement. Hamas fighters are counterattacking, but they have not yet been able to break the borders of the encirclement. 

▪️Meanwhile, the situation on the Israeli-Lebanese border has significantly escalated. An IDF airstrike on a former medical centre took place in Buslayya, which Israelis say is linked to Hezbollah.

December 19-20, 2023

▪️Sporadic fighting continues in the isthmus between the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the IDF increased shelling of the central part of the enclave, indicating preparations for intensified operations in the area.

▪️Heavy fighting continues in Khan Yunis and its surroundings, with artillery and aviation actively shelling the dense urban area. The Israelis are entrenching themselves in the occupied territories and making preparations for the next phase of the offensive for the full capture of Khan Yunis.

▪️In the West Bank, Israeli security forces carry out raids, leading to clashes with the locals. lashes in several major Palestinian towns resulted in the deaths of several residents.

▪️Near Beit Lahiya, Israel Defence Forces continue to deepen on the western outskirts to finally encircle the city. Israeli forces destroyed the southern part of Kamal Adwan Hospital and bulldozed nearby buildings in order to accomplish the goal. 

▪️IDF soldiers are also gaining ground on the northwestern outskirts of Jabalia. At the moment, the main fighting continues in the vicinity of the Shadia Abu Ghazaleh school.

▪️In eastern Gaza, the Israel Defence Forces managed to reach Bin Marwan cemetery. The cemetery was used by Hamas militants as a launching ground for missiles against Israeli forces.

▪️In Khan Younis, the front line has remained almost unchanged over the week. Israeli forces are fighting in a dense urban area and are far from occupying the centre of the locality.

▪️At the same time, in the West Bank, Israeli security forces carry out regular raids and mass detentions of the Palestinians. The situation is almost completely under the control of the IDF, and locals do not pose a serious military threat to it.

▪️The situation on Israel's northern border remains unchanged, where mutual firing continues. Hezbollah routinely reports strikes on IDF strongholds and bases, while the Israelis fire back.

▪️Houthis once again launched a massive drone attack in the direction of Eilat. Most of the drones were shot down by Western naval ships, while the rest were intercepted on their way to the Israeli port.

December 14-15, 2023


▪️Israeli troops continue the ground operation both in the north and in the south of the Gaza Strip. At the same time, regular air raids have already made the territory of the enclave uninhabitable, as the West has openly stated.

▪️Near Beit Lahia, the IDF concentrated on clearing the urban area and destroying Hamas underground communications. In the same area near Kamal Adwan Hospital, the Israelis are conducting filtration operations: 70 people accused of militant ties were detained.

▪️Meanwhile, fighting continued on the approaches to the centre of Gaza, including in the Sheikh Radwan, Al Zaytoun and Al Shujaiya areas. Palestinian militias responded with raids on Israeli positions, but were unable to retake the initiative.

▪️A similar situation remains in the south of the enclave, where Israeli forces are trying to expand their zone of control near Khan Yunis. At the moment, the IDF is actively using engineering vehicles to demolish the ruins and build passageways deep into the urban area.

▪️Palestinian militias do not remain on the sidelines and, in addition to their regular sorties, they also shell border kibbutzim. In recent days, Hamas has reported rocket attacks on IDF concentrations in Sufa, Nirim, Kissufim and Ofakim.

▪️The intensity of clashes in the West Bank increased slightly. For more than three days, the IDF conducted an operation in Jenin that left 11 people dead and several dozen injured.

▪️Fighters of the Shiite Ansar Allah movement continue to prevent ships from passing through to the Israeli port of Eilat. The Yemenis attacked at least four ships near the Mokha port. Some of the munitions were intercepted by US aircraft carriers.

▪️The Israel Defence Forces continue their offensive in the Gaza Strip in several directions. Israeli aviation is active in the north of the enclave. IDF bulldozers are clearing debris and destroyed a local cemetery.

▪️Although there are no advances in the northern sector, heavy fighting is taking place in the area of Kamal Adwan Hospital. The Israelis are bringing in reinforcements and methodically destroying Hamas infrastructure. 

▪️Things are different in the southern part of the enclave, with Palestinian sources reporting IDF sorties in the Al Zahra and Al Mughraqa neighbourhoods. The Israelis are also active in the Juhor ad Dik area. The Palestinians are responding with mortar and rocket fire.

▪️The IDF are also steadily advancing in the Khan Yunis neighbourhoods. In the northwest, fighting has broken out on the Al-Dahra street near a stadium. Palestinian factions are trying to slow down the Israeli advance with counterattacks and mortar fire.

▪️The IDF also advanced in the south of Khan Yunis. A concentration of Israeli forces is reported near the Al-Zilal Mosque, and IDF tanks are spotted near the Indonesian mosque. The city itself has been systematically bombed and shelled.

▪️Clashes with Palestinian protesters intensified in the West Bank. Israeli security forces detained protesters en masse. More than 800 Palestinians have been detained in Jenin as a result of armed protests. There are deaths and injuries on both sides.

▪️The IDF and Hezbollah continue to exchange strikes along the entire Lebanese border. Hezbollah attacks border posts with anti-tank missiles and mortars. The IDF in turn launch air and artillery strikes on suspected Hezbollah rocket launch sites.

▪️In the West Bank, Israeli security forces conduct raids and clash with locals. Large-scale clashes took place in Tubas, the suburbs of Nablus, Qalandia and Hebron. While clashing Israelis and Palestinians used guns. 

▪️On the northern border, Hezbollah continues to fire at various IDF military bases and border posts. The Israelis have responded with artillery and air strikes, which have resulted in casualties among locals.

▪️Palestinian forces are also being active, attacking IDF positions in the Al-Zaytoun and Sheikh Radwan neighbourhoods. Despite all attempts, Hamas militants are unable to hold off the Israeli forces' advance. 

▪️In the south of the enclave, IDF troops made significant gains in the south of the enclave, advancing towards Khan Younis. They managed to advance along the Salah al-Din highway and reached the suburb of Bani Suheila in a short time.

▪️In the West Bank, clashes between the Arab population and Israeli security forces continue on a regular basis. During raids, Israeli security forces often resorted to the use of firearms against individuals suspected of having links to Hamas.

▪️On the Israeli-Lebanese border, the IDF and Hezbollah continue to exchange strikes on a regular basis. At the same time, the Israelis have increased their use of drones to reconnoiter areas far from the border, including Beirut.

December 02-4, 2023


▪️Over the past few days, following the end of the ceasefire, the IDF Air Force has been continuously launching strikes on the Gaza Strip. The most often targets facilities in the south of the enclave, where fighters are setting the next phase of the ground operation in motion.

▪️At the same time, clashes resumed along the entire area of control in the north and north-west of the Gaza Strip. Fighting continued near Sheikh Radwan, Beit Lahiya, Beit Hanoun and Gaza’s Supreme Court building.

▪️On Monday, the Israelis pushed deep into another are of Gaza City in the northern part of the enclave. Local Palestinian sources reported fierce fighting on Baghdad Street in the Shuja'iyya neighbourhood.

▪️Shortly after, the Israelis made an incursion into the Gaza Strip from a new direction. The IDF entered the enclave in the area between Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah. They succeeded in taping deep into the enclave and reaching the central Salah al-Din Road. This tactic has been used before in the northern direction.

▪️Palestinian groups, meanwhile, regularly counterattack in all areas where fighting is taking place. They occasionally manage to significantly damage IDF equipment and personnel. However, they are unable to stop the Israeli advance.

▪️At the same time, militants continue to shell southern and central Israeli cities. Most of the missiles fall in open terrain or are intercepted. However, some of them caused damage in Ashkelon, near Tel Aviv and in other cities.

▪️On the Israeli-Lebanese border, the IDF and Hezbollah carry out daily strikes along the entire line of contact. Attacks on the Beit Hillel base and a stronghold near Shtula resulted in around 15 injured Israelis and damaged military equipment.

December 01, 2023


▪️On December 1, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has ended. The IDF said that the militants had violated the agreement and offered to hand over seven people and three bodies of dead Israelis instead of ten live hostages.

▪️On Friday morning, after the end of the ceasefire, the IDF resumed its bombardment of the Gaza Strip. They targeted not only the enclave's capital and northern cities, but also major localities in the south - especially Khan Younis and Rafah.

▪️In addition to the resumption of airstrikes, IDF clashes with Palestinian groups have resumed near Al- Rantisi Hospital, the Netzarim junction and Beit Hanoun. More than one hundred civilians have fallen victim to both these clashes and air strikes since the end of the ceasefire.

▪️There are a lot of signs that the IDF are planning to launch an offensive on Khan Younis. Leaflets were scattered over the town, demanding people to abandon it. In addition, Palestinians reported Israeli activity at Khuzaʽa east of Khan Younis.

▪️With the resumption of hostilities, the flow of humanitarian aid through the Rafah crossing stopped. Again, the supplies of basic medicines and food to Palestinians are suspended. It is not yet known whether the flow of humanitarian aid through this checkpoint will resume.

▪️Since the end of the ceasefire, the number of raids by Israeli security forces in the West Bank has increased significantly. Mass arrests and clashes with Palestinians take place in Hebron, Tuqu, Nahalin, Beit Sahour, Jenin and other localities.

▪️Hezbollah fighters also resumed their attacks and struck the Israeli stronghold of Dvoranit on the border. The IDF responded with shelling Labuneh and the vicinity of al-Nakoura. An unknown object was also intercepted over Metula.

    ▪️The Israel Defence Forces continue the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip from three directions. In the northwestern part of the enclave, the Israelis managed to advance 5 kilometres along the al-Rasheed road.

    To the east, IDF units are fighting on the outskirts of the town of Beit Hanoun. The Israelis are trying not to engage in protracted battles in urban areas and are operating in the open.

    ▪️Meanwhile, to the south, the Israelis were able to fight their way into the enclave for 6 kilometres and reach the al-Rasheed road from the other side.

    ▪️The Israeli Air Force again struck in close proximity to Gaza hospitals. An ambulance was destroyed near al-Shifa hospital, again killing a large number of civilians.
