November 30 , 2023


▪️On December 1, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has ended. The IDF said that the militants had violated the agreement and offered to hand over seven people and three bodies of dead Israelis instead of ten live hostages.

▪️On Friday morning, after the end of the ceasefire, the IDF resumed its bombardment of the Gaza Strip. They targeted not only the enclave's capital and northern cities, but also major localities in the south - especially Khan Younis and Rafah.

▪️In addition to the resumption of airstrikes, IDF clashes with Palestinian groups have resumed near Al- Rantisi Hospital, the Netzarim junction and Beit Hanoun. More than one hundred civilians have fallen victim to both these clashes and air strikes since the end of the ceasefire.

▪️There are a lot of signs that the IDF are planning to launch an offensive on Khan Younis. Leaflets were scattered over the town, demanding people to abandon it. In addition, Palestinians reported Israeli activity at Khuzaʽa east of Khan Younis.

▪️With the resumption of hostilities, the flow of humanitarian aid through the Rafah crossing stopped. Again, the supplies of basic medicines and food to Palestinians are suspended. It is not yet known whether the flow of humanitarian aid through this checkpoint will resume.

▪️Since the end of the ceasefire, the number of raids by Israeli security forces in the West Bank has increased significantly. Mass arrests and clashes with Palestinians take place in Hebron, Tuqu, Nahalin, Beit Sahour, Jenin and other localities.

▪️Hezbollah fighters also resumed their attacks and struck the Israeli stronghold of Dvoranit on the border. The IDF responded with shelling Labuneh and the vicinity of al-Nakoura. An unknown object was also intercepted over Metula.

November 25-27, 2023


▪️On Saturday and the following days, the hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas continued. In four days, the militants handed over 50 Israelis and about 20 foreign workers, in response, the Israeli authorities released more than a hundred arrested Palestinians. 

▪️During the truce, the Palestinians periodically accused the Israelis of violating the terms of the ceasefire. So, representatives of Hamas said that the Israelis opened fire on civilians trying to return to their homes in the north of the enclave. 

▪️At the same time, the IDF really hinder residents from returning to their homes in the north of the enclave by setting up roadblocks there. The Israeli command fears that they may prevent the continuation of the ground operation by becoming a human shield for the militants. 

▪️Yemeni Houthis attacked Eilat at least four times with missiles and drones at the night of Saturday to Sunday. According to the Israel Defence Forces, all projectiles were intercepted on approach in the Red Sea. 

▪️The truce does not apply to the Western Bank: Israeli security forces conduct raids throughout the region. Detentions regularly turn into massive clashes with local residents. IDF periodically use special equipment, small arms and drones during operations. 

▪️On the contrary, the situation has stabilised in the north: the ceasefire regime is in effect here. Despite a couple of statements about violations, neither Hezbollah nor IDF reacted to this and did not escalate the situation

▪️On Sunday, the IDF air force carried out airstrikes on Mezzeh Military Airport airfield and Damascus International Airport. No one was wounded in the incident, but the facility was closed for a while due to damage to the runway.

November 23-24, 2023


▪️The first attempt to establish a ceasefire on Thursday morning failed. Clashes and strikes in the Gaza Strip continued, albeit with less intensity.

▪️Several skirmishes took place in the north of the enclave, on the outskirts of Beit Hanoun. In addition, fighting continued at the Netzarim junction in the southern part of the IDF zone of control.

▪️However, the ceasefire did come into effect on Friday morning. Nevertheless, the ceasefire was not without violations: in the north of the enclave, the IDF opened fire on refugees trying to return to their homes.

▪️Trucks carrying humanitarian aid began entering the Gaza Strip through the Rafah checkpoint in large numbers. In total, about 150 trucks with food, medicine and fuel arrived.

▪️The long-awaited hostage exchange also took place: Hamas freed 13 Israelis and 11 Thai workers, releasing them at the Rafah checkpoint. In return, the Israelis released 39 Palestinians from Ofer prison in the West Bank.

▪️Riots erupted outside the Ofer prison as Palestinian prisoners awaited their release. Israeli security forces threw stun grenades into the crowd and wounded a child in the leg with rubber bullets.

▪️On the eve of the truce that came into effect, the intensity of strikes on the Israeli-Lebanese border increased significantly. Hezbollah struck IDF positions at least 20 times, the highest number of attacks since the beginning of the conflict.

November 21-22, 2023


▪️On the morning of November 22, Hamas and the IDF announced a four-day ceasefire and hostage exchange. The ceasefire is to take effect at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

▪️Before the ceasefire was declared, however, the IDF was able to expand its zone of control on the northern outskirts of the Palestinian enclave. The Israelis have finally gained a foothold at the Indonesian hospital on the eastern outskirts of Jabalia, but the encirclement is not yet complete.

▪️Meanwhile, Palestinian militias continue to attack the IDF in previously occupied territories. Several clashes took place near Juhor ad-Dik and Al-Wafa Hospital, but the militants failed to push back the Israelis.

▪️Clashes between Israeli security forces and Palestinians continue in the West Bank. The most violent clashes took place in Tulkarm, where the IDF used unmanned aerial vehicles to destroy militants and hit the homes of local residents.

▪️Exchanges of strikes between Hezbollah and Israel continue on the Israel-Lebanon border. Since the Gaza ceasefire was declared, their intensity has decreased to some extent, but the number of attacks is still high.

▪️Pro-Iranian proxies again attacked U.S. military facilities on Iraqi and Syrian territory. Ain al-Asad and Harir bases were targeted in Iraq, while in Syria, al-Shaddadi in the northeast of the country was targeted.

▪️On November 22, Israeli Air Force once again struck the outskirts of Damascus. Iranian proxy infrastructure in Syria was probably also targeted.

November 18-20, 2023


▪️Israeli troops continue to strike the Gaza Strip and prepare for a new phase of the ground operation. In the northern section, the Israelis are holding the outskirts of Beit Hanoun and trying to move deeper into urban development. 

▪️To the southwest an Israeli armoured group managed to reach the vicinity of the Indonesian hospital. As a result of a series of strikes on the institution, at least ten people were killed, and the generator powering the medical complex also disabled. 

▪️To the west, the IDF units are consolidating in the coastal zone and are trying to expand the control zone. Hamas militants also do not sit idly by and arrange ambushes, catching Israelis in the labyrinths of city streets. 

▪️One of the targets of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam group attacks was the Al-Ranthisi hospital, seized by Israeli soldiers. The militants managed to get into the building, but due to the lack of records, it is quite difficult to assess the results of the sortie. 

▪️South of Gaza, Israeli units have taken control of the Supreme Court building. It is possible that the object itself may be imploded after the reporting photo shoot, like the previously destroyed building of the legislative assembly. 

▪️At the same time, Palestinian units continue to launch rockets at Israeli settlements. Be'eri, Mivtahim, as well as the Hatzerim Airbase were also under fire. 

▪️As for the northern border of Israel, the situation there has not undergone significant changes. Hezbollah fighters attacked strongholds and IDF facilities, the Israelis responded with massive fire at the launch sites.

November 16-17, 2023


▪️The Israeli army continues to clear positions around Gaza. On the northern outskirts of the enclave, Palestinian groups periodically counterattack, firing anti-tank guided missiles and small arms at the IDF.

▪️To the south, near the Mediterranean coast, the IDF has cleared the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital. The hospital itself is set up as a military stronghold, and Israeli media continues to prove that the facility was used by Hamas.

▪️To the east, clashes are taking place near Al-Wafa Hospital. Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants attack Israeli equipment from the flanks, harming the IDF while failing to regain control of territory.

▪️Local Palestinian sources, so far without any confirmation, are reporting that the IDF has allegedly broken through towards the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital. With the circle over the northern part of the enclave already closed, sorties like these are a logical continuation of the operation.

▪️Meanwhile, raids and mass clashes between Israeli security forces and Palestinians continue across the West Bank. The most violent clashes are taking place in Jenin Camp, Nablus, Tulkarm, Hebron and Qalqilya.

▪️In the northern area, Hezbollah militants and the IDF are exchanging strikes along the entire Israeli-Lebanese border.
Over the past two days, Hezbollah has attacked IDF strongholds and Israeli settlements at least 15 times, and several soldiers have been wounded. 

▪️At night, the Israel Defense Forces launched rocket strikes on the southern suburbs of Damascus. Some of the missiles were shot down, but some reached their target.

November 14-15, 2023


▪️The Israel Defence Forces continue to gain a foothold along the coast of the Gaza Strip. The Israelis reported taking full control of the al-Shati refugee camp. Hamas militants were pushed back deep into Gaza despite desperate resistance.

▪️The Israelis continue not only to expand the zone of control in the coastal area, but also to form an operational corridor in the south-eastern direction. Objective monitoring has confirmed the storming of Al-Shifa Hospital, which resulted in the arrest of several hundred Palestinians.

▪️In addition, the day before, Israeli forces advanced towards Al-Wafa Hospital, which is east of current IDF positions. These actions indicate the beginning of multidirectional sorties deep into Gaza after the encirclement of the city.

▪️There is also fighting in the Beit Hanoun area and west of Beit Lahiya. However, the IDF is in no hurry to advance in this direction. This may be due to the lack of confirmed targets of military and media importance.

▪️To the south, Yemeni Houthis launched several ballistic missiles at Eilat and the surrounding area. Air defence systems repelled the attack, shooting down the object over Israeli territory. There were no casualties.

▪️In the West Bank, Israeli security forces continue mass detentions of Palestinians suspected of links to Hamas. IDF bulldozers destroy monuments and urban infrastructure in Tulkarm. Israeli activity is accompanied by clashes with Arab youths.

▪️On Israel's northern border, Hezbollah and the Israeli army continue to exchange strikes. The Lebanese attack border posts with anti-tank missile systems. The IDF responds with artillery and air strikes on populated areas as well as forests and plantations where it suspects the presence of Hezbollah.

November 11-13, 2023


▪️The Israel Defence Forces completed an operation to blockade Gaza City, advancing along the al-Rashid coast road in the north and along the valley, located in Wadi Gaza south of the city. In the north, the Israelis bite into the al-Shati camp. On the western border of Gaza, Israel Defense Forces units managed to take control of the area near Al-Quds and Al-Shifa hospitals and approached al-Wafa Hospital in the Tell al-Hawa neighbourhood. Let’s face it: the Israelis have gone from encircling the city to conducting raids within the city limits.

At the same time, the satellite towns have not yet been taken: in the north of the enclave, fighting continues unabated at Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya. The beginning of the urban fighting was marked by the continuation of intensive bombardment by the Israeli Air Force.

▪️Against a background of bombardment and ongoing fighting, the Israelis open humanitarian corridors along the main al-Rashid and Salah al-Din roads on a daily basis. In this way, the population is being squeezed out of the capital of the enclave, and the IDF absolves itself of responsibility for the deaths of civilians, pointing to the possibility of rescue.

▪️Despite the events in the Gaza Strip, Israeli security forces continue their daily raids in the West Bank.

▪️The situation is gradually heating up on Israel's northern borders, where the intensity of shelling by Lebanon's Hezbollah has increased.

▪️Pro-Iranian groups from other territories are not standing idly by either. The Yemeni Houthis, for example, again tried to attack Israel with rockets and drones. But the launched missiles were shot down by Saudi air defence systems over the Red Sea.

▪️On Saturday, strikes were launched from Syrian territory on the southern part of the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. The Israeli Air Force struck Syrian localities in the province of Daraa.

November 9-10, 2023


▪️Israeli military advances in the Gaza Strip continue from three directions. In the northeastern section near the border with Israel, the fighting in the Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya area carries on without significant change.

▪️At the same time, in the north-west, the Israelis managed to penetrate 10 kilometres deep into the Gaza Strip along the Mediterranean Sea. The fighting is taking place near Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza, where the IDF command believes Hamas bunkers are located.

▪️A little further south along the coast, fighting is taking place near the Al-Ansar neighbourhood. Israeli soldiers have broken through there, from their earlier positions south of Gaza City.

▪️Palestinian groups, for their part, regularly counterattack, destroying IDF personnel and equipment. Several such attacks were launched in the Sheikh Radwan area in the north and at Juhor ad-Dik in the south.

▪️At the same time, Israeli aviation is relentlessly bombing the territory of the Gaza Strip. The IDF command claims almost daily that high-ranking Hamas members have been eliminated in the course of air strikes.

▪️Against this background, the Israelis open a humanitarian corridor along the Salah al-Din Road for refugees on a daily basis. Palestinian media wrote that the IDF air force struck a convoy of civilians again, but there was no confirmation of this.

▪️The situation escalated in Jenin. The IDF destroyed a house and killed several civilians, which were believed to be terrorists. This led to armed clashes with locals and resulted in 11 deaths and more than 20 injuries.

▪️The Israeli Air Force has launched a series of missile strikes against Iranian formations in southern Syria and the suburbs of Damascus. Pro-Iranian groups in Syria and Iraq again attacked U.S. military facilities in response to Israeli actions in Gaza.

▪️IDF units, supported by armoured vehicles, continue their ground invasion of the Gaza Strip from three directions. In the north-western part of the enclave there is fighting near the Mediterranean coast and on the border of the Al-Shati neighbourhood.

 To the east, Israeli forces are trying to expand their zone of control on the outskirts of Beit Hanoun. Hamas militants, in turn, ambush and launch rockets at IDF strongholds.

To the south of Gaza, IDF units are fighting their way towards the al-Rashid highway. Despite the premature declarations by the Israeli authorities that the city has been encircled, there is no objective evidence to confirm this. 
  
▪️From time to time, the Israelis open a humanitarian corridor along the Salah al-Din highway to evacuate refugees from the city. By such actions, the IDF attempts to minimise reputational risks and facilitate the ground operation in Gaza.
  
▪️The Israeli Air Force is striking vital facilities in the city, practically squeezing the residents out of the city. Amid the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, more than 60% of medical facilities have already stopped working. 
 
▪️Hamas militants are launching rockets at Israeli settlements. Ashkelon, Ashdod and Tel Aviv came under fire again.

▪️Meanwhile, in the West Bank, Israeli security forces continue to suppress local discontent. In the Shuafat refugee camp, the house of Muhammad Zalbani. 
 
▪️On the northern border of Israel, the situation has not changed significantly. Hezbollah militants are shelling IDF strongholds, and in response the Israelis are burning forests in southern Lebanon.

▪️Meanwhile, in Syria and Iraq, pro-Iranian proxies continue to show limited and virtually formal activity. Several drones attacked U.S. facilities in both countries, and missiles were also fired at U.S. positions near the Conoko oil refinery.

▪️The Israeli Air Force again struck in close proximity to Gaza hospitals. An ambulance was destroyed near al-Shifa hospital, again killing a large number of civilians.

▪️The Israelis deported 7,000 Palestinian workers to Gaza right during the hostilities. According to Palestinians who were previously detained by Israeli security services, they were tortured before being deported to the war zone.

▪️Palestinian militants, for their part, continue to shell Israeli towns. The strikes hit Be'er Sheva, El'ad and small settlements along the border with the Gaza Strip.

October 31- November 1, 2023


▪️Over the past few days, IDF units have been conducting raids into the northern Gaza Strip. North of Gaza, Israeli troops were able to get closer to Beit Hanoun. To the west, Israeli troops entered the coastal al-Karam district and attempted to advance deeper into the settlement. Hamas militants, in turn, responded with targeted attacks on the advancing enemy and rocket strikes. 

▪️South of Gaza, Israeli forces crossed the Salah al-Din highway and continued moving towards al-Rasheed road. The IDF's likely objective is to block the land routes between the north and south of the enclave.

▪️In parallel with the raids, the Israeli Air Force continues to launch massive strikes on the Gaza Strip. More than 400 people were wounded or killed in Jabalia. The IDF justified the casualties by eliminating one of the Hamas commanders. 

▪️Egyptian authorities opened the Rafah crossing for the evacuation of foreigners, dual nationals and seriously wounded from the Gaza Strip. 

▪️At the same time, Palestinian militias launch rockets towards Israeli cities. Border communities as well as Be'er Sheva, Ashdod and Tel Aviv were hit, with more than 20 people injured.

▪️Mutual exchanges of strikes between Hezbollah militants and Israeli soldiers continue along the northern border. In response to the shelling, the Israel Defence Forces hit forests in southern Lebanon with incendiary shells.

▪️Protests and clashes between the Arab population and Israeli security forces continue in the West Bank. Over 110 locals have been detained over the past two days, a significant number of whom are students and journalists.

▪️The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement attempted to strike southern Israel several times, but air defence intercepted all rockets. To strengthen the defence, the Israeli command transferred naval ships to the Red Sea.

    ❗️🇮🇱🇵🇸🎞 Israeli-Palestinian conflict chronicles:
    November 2-3, 2023



    ▪️The Israel Defence Forces continue the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip from three directions. In the northwestern part of the enclave, the Israelis managed to advance 5 kilometres along the al-Rasheed road.

    To the east, IDF units are fighting on the outskirts of the town of Beit Hanoun. The Israelis are trying not to engage in protracted battles in urban areas and are operating in the open.

    ▪️Meanwhile, to the south, the Israelis were able to fight their way into the enclave for 6 kilometres and reach the al-Rasheed road from the other side.

    ▪️The Israeli Air Force again struck in close proximity to Gaza hospitals. An ambulance was destroyed near al-Shifa hospital, again killing a large number of civilians.

    ▪️The Israelis deported 7,000 Palestinian workers to Gaza right during the hostilities. According to Palestinians who were previously detained by Israeli security services, they were tortured before being deported to the war zone.

    ▪️Palestinian militants, for their part, continue to shell Israeli towns. The strikes hit Be'er Sheva, El'ad and small settlements along the border with the Gaza Strip.

    ▪️Fighters of the Yemeni Shiite Ansar Allah movement again attempted to launch a missile strikes on facilities in southern Israel. The targets this time were Eilat and Hatzerim Airbase.

    ▪️Violent clashes between Palestinians and Israeli forces continue throughout the West Bank. Violence has increased significantly in Jenin. 

    ▪️On the border with Lebanon, the situation has deteriorated significantly: Hezbollah has attacked some 20 IDF strongholds in that area. The Israelis, on the other hand, continue to return fire on southern Lebanese territories, and there have been civilian casualties.

    ▪️Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah made an address on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The speech was devoid of any specifics.
